Our Superman
"Whatever you do, pour yourself into it."
was the quote by Robert Mondavi that was painted across a semi (literally)
as I walked towards our first date.
I stopped, & in typical Ksenija fashion, snapped a quick photo of it.
It was a time in my life where I payed ultra close attention to 'signs' from the Universe particularly,
a time when the 'angel cards' I pulled most often were :
TRUST
CELEBRATION
HEALING.
A time when I loved being on my own, independent & strong,
but secretly longed for God to lead me in the direction of my life partner.
I had no idea walking into Oak City Grille that not only would I meet this tremendous human being,
but I would meet my future husband,
father of our children (four-legged as well
),
bestest friend
& twin flame.
Ironically, since the beginning of our courtship,
you have continually shown me
that "whatever you do",
you must "pour yourself into it."
This has only amplified since becoming a Father.
You have inspired me as a man of such strong faith.
You have awed me with your generous heart.
You have wooed me with your honest charisma.
You have protected me with your strength, both physically & emotionally.
You have wowed me with your hard work ethics & dedication.
You have amazed me day after day with your love towards our family.
...then our son was born,
and just when I thought I couldn't possibly love you any MORE,
I was wrong.
I was SO wrong.
I thank God for you & for filling my heart with this undeniable love for you (that seems to be growing by the nanosecond)!
You have made fatherhood (which we know isn't always easy) look effortless & full of grace.
You have filled our son's entire heart with love & laughter & admiration from day one.
You have made his days feel magical with your loving & playful ways.
You have made his whole world, & then some, just by being YOU.
Thank you for always pouring yourself into every aspect of our lives.
You are our very own SUPERMAN
& we love you infinitely.
