Wednesday's.whimsy:everlasting.to-do.list
it has been another non-stop day,,, and as i was driving from one destination to another, i thought to myself, "will my to-do list ever really be all checked off? i mean, really now?!!!
truly, how is it that it is already August? let alone August of 2009?! this year, more than ever, i feel time is just racing by.
however, is that really a bad thing? if our lives are filled with so much "to-do", why is it that we tend to worry about when we will find the time for certain leisurely things, instead of just living in & appreciating the moment now? why is it that we tend to underestimate the instances that happen to us daily & our potential of making the very best of all our "to-do's"?!
maybe this isn't you at all. maybe you don't dwell on your "to-do's" one bit. if so, i applaud you. no, i take it back -- i give you a standing ovation because you are far better than i & really, truly quite ahead of the game.
however today, as the windows of my car were rolled all the way down, an old James Blunt cd echoed in the air... i came to the simple realization that if my 'to-do' list were ever really complete, my life would be as blank as that torn out notebook paper.
so, going back to my question of whether or not my to-do list will ever really be all checked off? -- the answer is simply, no.
...and quite frankly, i am more than okay with that.
speaking of "to-do's", i finally got around to creating a facebook fan page for .ksenija savic photography. -- one more thing checked off the list, and a wondrous lifetime left to create & check off all the rest!
