Eleven.months.left
it was just another Sunday or so it seemed when i woke up yesterday morning. i rolled over to snuggle my cat, Beebs, who is always 'cooing' next to me in the bright early daylight. Emollock, my Siamese, greeted me with his normal morning meows & rubbed up against my leg. i stretched, got up & went about my day as i usually do. Jones & i had a great morning walk -- he kept looking back at me with his 'you're the best Mommy ever-look' & i just smiled back. the day was truly glorious out. it is days like today & yesterday that make me appreciate the ups & downs of Michigan weather.
Sundays are my no workout days. so i got ready, answered a few emails, edited a little & then off to church i went. the service was inspiring & phenomenal, as it always is, but at the end, the pastor said something along the lines of :
"many of us woke up today & thought, February 1st?! where did all of January go?!....
you have 11 months left of 2009 -- what are you going to do with them?"
i don't know exactly why that struck a cord with me, but it really did. it was as if i was a guitar & someone picked a string & just let it vibrate away...
needless to say, i left that afternoon with my mind filled with thought. i know i work a crazy amount & am constantly trying to find the balance in it all. however, i also know that in order to stay inspired & feel happiness daily, i need to make the time for the little things and not feel so guilty if i do!
i decided i had to blog about it. not just because i wanted to stay true to my word, but also because i thought maybe, just maybe, a few of you out there may relate.
i also decided that i was going to blog a lot more 'random' stuff, personal thoughts, inspirations, etc. this year --- because that is who i am, and that is how i roll.
i feel that life is a whole lot better when we are open & can relate to each other. if i am gonna live it, i want to do it with my heart & self wide open.
soooo,,,, watch out these next 11 months. although i have accomplished many things that i have wanted to do, there are still SO many more that i want to accompish. with that said, all the things that i have been wanting to do will be done! hang on tight peeps! we are going to go for a ride.

...and with true fashion, i thought to post up a few pics of my little Jones, who is getting SO big! these images were actually take about a month ago, however i haven't posted some in a while so i deemed it time NOW. there will be more recent ones soon. happy day to you!
