.so.thankful!
another thanksgiving passes & another year that i have so much to be thankful for. i love the holidays -- everything from how the weather changes, happy leaves color the ground, smells of homecookin', the holiday cheer on the radio, the fun decor lit up all around us -- there are SO many wonderful things about this time of year no matter where you live. it is a time to give thanks, a time to be thankful, a time to (hopefully!) slow down & enjoy the company of your loved ones... what could be better?!
it has been an eventful couple of days & so great to be able to spend time with family and some people i haven't seen in quite awhile. last night was my ten year class reunion from high school, as well. for anyone who may have some hesitation regarding attending their reunion, please do yourself a favor & go! it isn't as "weird" as you may think & yet it is in a way -- but in a good way.
it is a fantastic sense of nostalgia that only gets created once every ten years. think about that. it was awesome to see everyone again.
this holiday season, i wish you great happiness & many moments of relaxation with your loved ones. as for myself, i hope to work on slowing down a bit & to try to have big dinners with my friends & family more often -- i want to enjoy their company on some random Tuesday for instance... as well as on all the holidays. it is amazing how life can take so much work to just simply remind yourself not to take things for granted! it is worth it though.
i have so, so, so much to be thankful for. thank you all for taking the time to visit my blog & for all the heartfelt, beautiful comments. i wish i could paint my words of appreciate across the sky! words could never truly express my heart's gratitude. thank you.
thank you to my mikey, as well, for always believing in me & my passion. thank you for being my rock. i have so much love & gratitude for you!!!
below are some images of a most gorgeous flower arrangement i received from my friends at Music Box the day before Thanksgiving (of whom I am also SO thankful to know & have in my life!) -- they completely & utterly made my day! i was beyond shocked & so happy for the surprise. thank you again, Kimberly, Rod & the Music Box fam!!!!
