40 Weeks // Babe #2
Well, here we are...
40 weeks officially today with sweet babe #2!
Even though I have envisioned getting here, I still somehow can't believe it.
This pregnancy has in ways been very similar to my first, & yet completely different all at the same time. There has been a lot of joy, thanks & also amazement at how our bodies somehow just "know" what to do.
I have understood my body even more this time around (for the most part 
). I have also had to give myself a WHOLE LOT OF GRACE & permission to be okay with having days where I felt like a brick wall of exhaustion had hit me & had to do movie/PBS marathons with my son. I have had my fair share of worries & experienced stories of loss that have deeply impacted my extremely empathetic heart. I have had to learn how to find the balance in it all. I have had to remind myself daily that fear is not from God - it is not the TRUTH - & that He's got me, my family, our growing baby, my friends, my EVERYTHING. I have had angels show up when I least expected it & remind me I am not alone. I have laughed. I have cried. I have lost it, too. I have had the support & genuine love from my incredible husband and the best kisses, hugs & cuddles from my sweet toddler. I have given thanks daily & will never stop counting all my blessings.
So with this pregnancy, I wanted to be sure to capture a snippet of this precious time, just like we did with our son. You don't realize how important these moments are until they pass &, as any parent knows all too well, they most certainly pass far TOO quickly!!
Yesterday, I pulled out my good ol' trusty tripod 
so I could 'stamp' this special time
& celebrate all that has happened in the past 10 months, as well as all that is to come.
Babe #2... we cannot wait to meet you!!!
