Happy Birthday Tata
my Dad is the person who ran to the store at 2:00am to buy me chocolate when i was little & incredibly upset because i lost my favorite toy 'yellow bird'. chocolate, apparently even then, was the sure fix.
my Dad is the type of father who stopped painting the upstair hallway in order to listen to me create an imaginary conversation with my family of dolls when i was only 3.
when i was 5, we went on our summer vacation in Florida & for some reason, i was deathly afraid of touching the sand that year. my Dad, without any thought, carried me the entire time, even into the water which was my most favorite place to be.
about 4 years ago, my Dad was the man who sat across me during one of our morning breakfasts at OHOP & supported, encouraged & believed in me taking the giant leap to start my own business ~ .ksenija savic photography.,,, even though it was the complete opposite of how he had grown up.
my Dad is the type of person who really encompasses 'how old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?'... he turns 70 today & yet he never acts his 'age'. he lives life FULLy, lights up
whenever you talk about his family or his sweeeeet grandchild Daniel
, & always, always makes time for everyone. even if he doesn't know you, he will make you feel as if you have known him for years. he will make you laugh. he will tell you a story from 'back in the day'... a couple of times
.
my Dad, or Tata as i call him, will make you smile.
guaranteed.
happy 70th birthday to the BEST man i know,
my Tata
.
i love you so much.
