. Worry-freeeeeeee .
i woke up this morning feeling heavy. the type of heavy that isn't an actual physical 'weight' ~ only created in your mind. needless to say, i typically prefer the 'light as a feather' mantra so this heaviness was not warmly welcomed. in fact, almost for a split second it made me feel suffocated. :I
isn't it funny how at times like these we almost don't know what to do or which way to turn, so we sorta freeze,,, feeling almost stuck in useless worry? then, as i was putting together my list of priorities for the day & multi-tasking between emailland & facebook, i happened to stumble across this absolutely a w e s o m e article by Akaya Windwood that my friend, Amaliya, had shared with me. {thank you again Amaliya!!! }
Amaliya wrote, " I know you never worry. but thought you'd enjoy this: "
'Life after worry' article
thanks for the kind words Amaliya, however as much as i view the glass half FULL & try to make the best of every day, i do let worry creep in every so often. ooooh yes! i am human after all. ha! and then this morning, just as i was allowing myself to worry about the mega-to-do-list that lay before me, i read the article & was reminded,
yet again,
what life is really about.
so, just like that, i took one look at 'worry' & kaaaaaa-booted him out yonder, way into the Universe.
not for someone else to have, but so that sweet little 'worry' could enjoy the ride, as well.
today is Friday. today is a good day. today is what YOU make it.
& today, if you have 2 precious minutes to spare (which i hope you do!), you should READ THIS ARTICLE!
it does a mind, body, soul GOOD.
...in light of remembering how silly it is to worry, it took me back to my recent adventure in Africa. a time when there was much to worry about in regards to travels & uncertainties,
and yet,,,
a time where i felt the most at peace & completely worry-free.
another reminder to me that we are all human, we will always have 'those days',
and that without them,
the journey would be much less lived & experienced.
don't wait for the experience. the experience is now. today. and it is worry-free.
