Alexa : Baby Shower
so speaking of memories & things i do not want to forget, below are some images from one of my best girlfriend's, Alexa, baby shower at her parent's home in Indiana (i don't even want to mention what month this was in--- all i have to say is a huge "thank you!" to Lex & Steve for being so patient -- i hope it was worth the wait!). i have known Alexa & her brother Matt for well over 13 years now --- they are like a sister and brother to me, and their family like a second family. i cannot even begin to describe to you the amount of immediate warmth & love you feel when you are around them and their entire family. they are people with the biggest of hearts.... i never leave a visit without feeling overwhelmed with great love & gratitude.
after the baby shower, i did a maternity session with Alexa & her husband Steve... that post is next! stay tuned.
everytime i visit, i admire this bell that sits in front of the Russell home :

: )
the decor was all in Winnie-the-Pooh spirit & color... as is the baby's nursery!
(from left to right) Steve (Alexa's husband), Alexa & her brother Matt :
i adore the feeling in both of these photos.... the image on the right is of Grammy -- literally one of the most beautiful & genuine of people on this planet :
Brenda (their Aunt) is such a classic beauty :
Here is Matt (or Russell as I call him) with his dog Jackson... & Hollis (Brenda's daughter) with Jackson!
i sort of fell in love with Jackson...
he is such a cool dog... his eyes were out-of-this-world!
i love this image because it includes Heather (one of Alexa's best friends) laughing & smiling at her, Steve enjoying the moment and all you can see of Lex is her baby belly :
from left to right Hollis, Heather, Alexa, Kim & Jen!
seriously... could he be any cuter?
and lastly, one of my favorite images from the day... i saw Colt (one of her parent's dogs) out in the distance. there is something about this picture that is so calming to me :
