Pittsburgh.road.trip : Recap!

& finally... a little recap of my recent road trip & what was the most wonderful time spent with people that i love SOOOO incredibly much in a town called Sewickly, a suburb of Pittsburgh. i began taking photographs when i was very little because i didn't want to forget the moments in my life that make the memories so very sweet. i found that what we could remember in our memory bank is only so much.... & pulling out those old photographs to re-remember moments we seemed we could never ever forget at the time is truly one of the most incredible feelings.

i hope to always be reminded of the mini adventure taken on a midwinter break week in february. below, i share with you some of the moments that made my heart smile.

alex (top row) & julianna (bottom row) had some fun at the local pottery place in town! i might be a bit biased, but i feel they are mighty great artists :

& then i got to treat them to some colorful cookies & milk --- i think they were pretty happy :

this is Nikita... Romi & Jobie's first baby -- to me she has the definition of "puppy dog eyes" :

below, before we took off for the day, Romi was trying to show us how Nikita can do a high five -- but the image to me transcends such a cool feeling in general :

this is one of the many reasons i love sewickly (pittsburgh)... when you are in the suburbs it seems like everywhere you look it looks like this :

we all packed into the car & headed to see the horses in the stables.... below is Lakin ready to go!

there was so much for them to do & learn.... I was very impressed with it all.

not to mention it was too fun to watch them as they discovered new things...

last but definitely not least, I had to share with you Alex, Julianna & Lakin having a ball -- all the children were pretty much immediately the best of buds. it was really cute.
