Top 5 Ingredients for a Balanced Smoothie

Do you love a good smoothie or want to give them a try? We are HUGE smoothie fans over here. They are such a great way to start the day & give your body something easy to digest that is chock full of goodness. 🙌🏼

I wanted to share my top 5 go-to's to create the best balanced smoothie that will not only keep you satiated but also make sure you keep your blood sugar in check, too. ☑️

Be sure to include a good :

✨PROTEIN : Any clean, organic vegan, vegetarian or grass fed isolate protein powder.

✨GREENS: Think organic spinach, zucchini, kale, basil, cilantro, cucumber, parsley, etc. I personally prefer them frozen.

✨FIBER: Organic ground flax seeds, chia seeds or avocado are some easy choices!

✨HEALTHY FAT: Organic nut butter, MCT oil, avocado and coconut oil are some great choices!

✨LIQUID: Water, a clean organic nut milk, hemp milk, coconut water, etc. I also like to add some organic cold brew when wanting a more coffee like taste.

✨OPTIONAL ADD-IN's : Superfoods such as a clean organic greens powder, ceylon cinnamon, collagen, hemp hearts, tumeric, bee pollen, chia seeds, coconut flakes, cacoa nibs, celtic sea salt, ginger, etc. are awesome ways to give it an extra boost.
