God Knows
I remind myself often, & our kiddos too 
, that God gave me them because He knew I was the exact mother that they needed to help guide them & teach them & love them & grow them into who they are meant to be.
This thought helps me especially on the tough days. I have to remind myself that God knows my heart and that as I continue to grow & learn as a parent, my children grow & learn, too. Parenting is a constant up & down journey — one that is most definitely not one size fits all.
Lately something that has been on my mind is that as parents, I truly feel that we are called to speak life & promise into our children… to remind them how special they are, how they are made with great purpose, how there is no one else like them & that they were made for such a time as this.
If we can focus on reminding them of even just one uplifting thing about them a day, think about how that adds up in their heart within a week, a month, a year!
