Our Biggest Teachers
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” -- 1 John 3:18 ?NIV
If you really think about it, how often are we actually living the words that can so easily come out of our mouths? I feel like children have a natural ability to show love & BE love (along with many other emotions ). However, truth be told, as much as we need to parent them, they are actually in turn quite possibly our biggest teachers.
Lately I have been listening to the Unruffled podcast by @JanetLandsbury & it is not only reminding me how important it is to actively want to never stop learning when it comes to parenting, but also how MUCH these lessons tie into adulthood. I can't recommend her podcasts enough! Plus, an added bonus is that they are usually about 20-30 minutes long so very easy to digest.
Any podcasts you are loving lately? Please share- I wanna know!
