Magnificent Opportunities

"We are all faced with magnificent opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations." - Charles R. Swindell

I found this quote scribbled on a wrinkled piece of paper that I had written a long time ago & thought, 'well I'll be if this isn't the quote of all quotes!'

What is it that blinds us from truly seeing the absolute MAGNIFICENT opportunities before us? Why do we have an easier tendency to doubt instead of believe?

Four days into this reset & I feel like I have been feeling A LOT of clarity already (which then of course my mind wants to immediately doubt, as well).

But the truth is, only 4 days in & this is usually around the point where our minds want to tell us, "This was cool. Good job! You did it. But really, you don't have time for this. You have a lot going on, etc. You don't have time for YOU."

Which is EXACTLY why I (personally) need this reset. I don't want to feel good & feel clarity for JUST a couple of days a month. No, it won't always be perfect but I'll be darned if I don't actively work on creating the life that I WANT - for myself & my family.

The kids & I say out LOUD daily :

I AM BRAVE.
I AM STRONG.
I CAN DO HARD THINGS.
I BELIEVE IN MYSELF.
I AM LOVE.
I AM ENOUGH.

Who am I to be just saying these things with them & not also SHOWING them what they mean?
With that said, here's DAY 4:

*MIND >> Today, reread your WHY from Monday. Remind yourself WHY you began in the first place.

*BODY >> Focus on what you decided you needed to eliminate & do ONE thing towards helping you succeed in doing so.???? Keep aiming to drink half that body weight in ounces of water daily -- it's so important!

*SPIRIT >> Call up or try to meet with a good friend. Let go of whatever has been weighing you down with them -- not only is it always better to share with someone you trust, but there is great release in doing so.

If you are just reading about this little #22dayreset today & feeling the nudge to just begin, here's your friendly reminder that it's never to late to just start.

Today's a great day to have a great day, so make it so!
