Miles & Mitchell
there is definitely something to be said about the connection between a parent & their child. a type of love that you wish you could some up in words, but are unable to find the sufficient description.
sometimes, when words cannot do it justice, i find there is no better way than experiencing it through a photograph.
i had the pleasure of documenting Miles & his son Mitchell in April. Mitchell is an incredibly smart & sweet thirteen year old who was completely on board with all my suggestions that sunny afternoon... and even had a few of his own!

Miles & Mitchell! i had so much fun with you both that l cannot help but smile SO big when i look at these images. i sincerely want to thank you for being so very welcoming & completely up for anything! it was a great pleasure to document your love, respect & admiration for each other -- it is evident in your interaction & uncanny connection. thank you for allowing me to capture what it looks like.

we started in Mitchell's bedroom. i loved all the bright, bold color! he is also really into Broadway Plays, so 'Mamma Mia' was quite an appropriate reading selection, as well. :
