Wednesday's.whimsy : 1000.comments!
hello there & a most happy wednesday to you! today's wednesday's whimsy will be quite simple, short & sweet... because it occurred to me that this week i had reached one of my many goals --- 1,000 comments on my little ol' blog here!!!

comments from you & my admitted blog-stalkers (oh, how i *heart* you guys!) really do make my day... it is not a joke! it is like a most special present that greets me with nothing but sunshine in my inbox. my eyes get a little brighter & my mouth curls up into a ball of smiles --- yes, not just one smile but a burst of smiles!

so today, on this hot, hot wednesday, i just wanted to take a moment to thank YOU all for your support, your encouragement & your thoughtfulness with your comments that i love oh SO much!

...and as for the pic below, it was also taken on my visit to Serbia last year. i have a mild fascination with doors, locks, door handles, windows....etc.
& i LOVE this photograph because of its simplicity & vibrance, as well as the thought to what is behind the door! i deemed it appropriate for this post because somehow i have a feeling that this wonderfully withered door must have at least 1000 cracks in it... which in my opinion makes it all the more glorious!
