Up.north

so while i am in the middle of editing, organizing & trying to get to posting so many things i want to share with you all, i ran across these images & they made me smile. they are from a short trip mike & i took up north at his Dad's cabin. we both loooove any opportunity we have to go up north & into the wilderness... which unfortunately happens less then we would like due to both our busy schedules! however, when they do happen, we treasure every second. this was a short trip taken this past january.... it had actually been an entire year since i had been up there & yet, in a way felt like it was just yesterday. we also had to bring my cats along because Emollock (my siamese) is diabetic & has to be given shots twice a day. they didn't quite enjoy the road trip up so much, however were like children in a new playground once they arrived. it was SO cute to watch them explore. here are just a few from our mini-adventure!

nothing like some hearty vegetable soup & grilled cheese sandwiches to make a true up-north experience complete!!! oh, & a good game of Yahtzee.
