Here's What's Missing

Don’t get me wrong! I’m a huge fan of walking & also focusing on protein, BUT I think what often gets lost is there has to be more of an overall balanced approach in order to really see the change you are seeking.☺️

Here are some tips that will not only help you reach your goals, but also add so much goodness to your day to day ⬇️:

✨Prioritize sleep – Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Set a bedtime routine, avoid screens an hour before bed & create a calming environment to improve sleep quality. 😴

✨Manage stress – Take at least 5 minutes a day to pause, journal, meditate or practice deep breathing. Consider grounding, journaling or a short walk outside to clear your mind. 🙏🏼

✨Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water throughout the day! You will be so pleasantly surprised by how much of an impact this has on your mind & body. Carry a water bottle with you & make it easy to accomplish. 💦

✨Move regularly – Aim for at least 20-30 minutes of exercise, whether it’s walking, stretching, strength training — honestly any activity you enjoy. 💪🏼

✨Eat a balanced diet – Incorporate a mix of protein, healthy fats & carbs & don’t forget about fiber! Try to eat at regular intervals & also allow time for digestive pause in between meals. #eattherainbow 🥗

✨Consistency over perfection – Focus on small, sustainable changes instead of drastic shifts. Consistency is KEY for long-term success. 💥

Just begin by focusing on one change at a time. ☺️When you combine these practices, you’ll see not just better physical results but also an improvement in mental clarity & overall energy.
