Legacy
Today would have been my parent’s 48th wedding anniversary.
When I came across this photo, I saw my parents in their element 
… but what caught me off guard was that I also could see my nephew, Danny, in my father’s face & my own daughter in my mothers.
It made me think about life & legacy & choices we make — how it’s almost impossible to fully comprehend the circle & depth of generations to come!
It also reminded me, again, of how fleeting time is & that there is no time like the present. Life is beautiful, life is messy, life is imperfectly perfect. Love the ones you’re with. Forgive those who have hurt you. Hold boundaries where you need to. Trust the process. Everything is going to be as it should.
