Sunset For The Soul

Last night we let the kids stay up so we could all watch the sun set together for the first time as a family. It was, magical.
My father would have loved every bit of it... but his eyes would have been fixed on the kids joy, not the sun setting. In a deep pocket of my soul I feel as if he was there with us, & so today I’m choosing to hold onto that tight.

“They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;
You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.”
— Psalm 65:8
