what is beautiful to you?

i see beauty in so much around us daily,,,

the way the sun peeks over branches of the bare trees right outside my window.
the way my pup nuzzles his paw over his snout in a deep sleep.
when i watch a couple arm in arm, laughing together walking briskly in a busy downtown area.
holding hands or receiving a bear hug from a loved one.
the little girl spinning herself endlessly on the dance floor.
when i watch the sky paint it's sunset...

& i have to say, i see so much beauty in Nicole. she is not only a classic, charming,with a bit of a firey fox on the outside, but also a ginormous bundle of lovely on the inside. i whole-heartedly believe that her beauty on the inside makes her shine even more so radiantly on the outside.

she is... sweet, kind, caring, compassionate, gentle, modclassic, timeless.... she is beautiful.

Nicole is not only all these things, but she is also an incredibly talented photographer... some of you may know her as Nicole Ladonne, of Nicole Ladonne Photography.

when Nicole asked me if i would shoot some boudoir images of her, i was not only honored, but just ecstatic! i think every woman should have tasteful, sexy, soft images taken of themselves. it is not only a great experience to have, but also a wonderful way to see yourself in a different light,,, to remind yourself how beautyFULL you really are.

not only did i have the pleasure of shooting Nicole's boudoir session, i also did her make-up look which was SO.much.FUN! her previous client Adrienne, was the mastermind behind Nicole's perfect 'do'. Adrienne works at the Tricho Salon in Novi & was a blast to work with. Nicole booked a room for the session at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester (i just love that place!) & it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. all in all, i will let the photos do the talking from this point on -- however, i will say that it was an unforgettable afternoon!


Nicole, thank you again for being wonderFULL you. i am so happy to have been able to work with you & had a ton of fun both that day, as well as editing these beauts below! you are such an incredible soul. thank you for being so genuinely kind & downright awesome! i am thrilled to share these photographs with you,,, however also thrilled to be able to call you my friend. it has been just fantastic getting to know you better! hope you enjoy... xoxo, ksen
