.fine art leather albums.

  Friday, 2.27.09

happy friday! i have been meaning to get this post up for quite some time now. below are some samples of the fine art leather albums that i offer in 5x5, 8x8, 10x10 & 12x12 inch sizes,,, along with the 8x10 fine art guestbook album. i know that some of you have actually seen these lovelies in person however, i thought it would be nice to have them up on the blog as a point-of-reference when thinking about the size of album you want. i also thought it would be fun to share with those of you who have never seen them.

ksp fine art leather albums are absolute beautyFULL pieces of, what i like to call, touchable, liveable art! each album is custom designed by myself, every page is then printed on archival photographic paper, mounted, textured & sprayed for the utmost impeccable quality. i am a HUUUUUUUUGE, and i mean huge, stickler on quality over quantity, so when it came time to merging with the right album company -- i wouldn't settle for anything less than the top of the line. after all, these albums are here to stay as modclassic, timeless pieces for generations to come, right!?!

so, without further ado, here's a little sneakypeeky of ksp's fine art leather albums!

two other things that i *heart* so much about my album company is that they have an awe!some variety in cover choices so you can really customize your album to match your style & wants (these are just a few below),,, as well as that they pay so much attention to detail (i know, me loving attention to detail is such a SHOCKER! ...) :

a few details of a 12x12 album :

i *heart* the 5x5 parent albums, too.... sooooo uber cute :

happy day!

wednesday's.whimsy : 4.random.thoughts

  Wednesday, 2.25.09

random thought #1 :: i stumbled across a quote the other day that i loved & jotted down quickly on a post-it note. i *heart* Emerson & i have no clue how this little pocket of word-sunshine didn't cross my path until now :

ps. i also *heart* post-it notes in every shape, size & color.

second random thought :: i would personally like to give a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge high five to Brad Pitt and his most recent cover of W Magazine. ok, clearly the man is 'reeeeeally good-lookin' however, in my opinion, he made himself 'even-MORE-good-lookin' inside & out by allowing Chuck Close (one of my favorite artists ever) to photograph him au natural, sans any photoshop post-processing. you can see every wrinkle, pore, line, etc. -- BEAUTIFUL. absolutely beautyFULL.

random thought #3 :: i walked past my room today & this image of Emollock sleeping in Jones' bed made me stop dead in my tracks. he looked so peaceful & content. my heart couldn't help but to twizzler-twist itself into a smile because, although he & my dog bicker occasionally like any brotherly siblings would, i realized that 'someone is indeed happy to have the new addition in the house. especially with all the extra luxuries that have joined the environment.'

lastly, random thought #4 :: i received this from one of my best friend's, Rob, weeks ago & it has just been sitting on my desk. so why, oh why, am i posting this?, you may ask....

because i think we all should start addressing our personal mail this way. i remember back in the day i always used to address letters to my friends with 'the beautiful ....' or 'the radiant ....' or 'the wonderful ....' -- well, you get the idea. i don't know what point in time i stopped doing this but i do know that when i received this envelope in the mail, i literally burst out in laughter & smiles. it was so simple, so unexpected & so wonderFULL. if something that small could make my day, why wouldn't i try to make someone's, as well?

happy "wednesday's whimsy" to you.

ps. YOU are AWESOME!

hannah's bat mitzvah

  Monday, 2.23.09

i had an absolutely BLAST at Hannah's Bat Mitzvah earlier in November! i have been so excited to finally post up these images because they truly depict the great love, joy, laughter & excitement that was surrounding Hannah and her family during this special time in her life.

as you will see from the images below, Hannah is undoubtedly a beautiful girl. however, after getting to know her better around her Bat Mitzvah, i got to know the incredibly beautiful soul Hannah is on the inside as well. she has a spirit that shines through her smile, she is compassionate & kind, as well as very funny. Hannah & her entire family were a great pleasure to work with.... as it was reliving that time through the all the moments captured! i also have to give a huge high five to the awesome & lively talent of Startrax, who kept the dance floor alive & everyone smiling BIG.

another important detail that i have to mention is that Hannah's party was all done with a 'pajama theme' in mind.... so everyone, including myself, wore pajamas! talk about SO. MUCH. FUN!

below is a sneak peek of some of my top favorite images from a day before her Bat Mitzvah & her actual party! however, please don't forget to check out her awesome slideshow posted at the end of this post if you would like to see even more of the fun! i used a very cool song created just for Hannah by Dj George Jones from Startrax.

Hannah, Karen, Seth, Ben and family, thank you again for the honor of allowing me to document such an important time. it has been an unforgettable process that i have enjoyed every step of the way! i hope you enjoy the photographs below & that they put a huge smile on your face as they have mine.
