i caught the tail end of the Oscar's last night & was SO happy to see that the movie ONCE won best music --- if you haven't seen this movie, it is truly a beautiful, whimsical, artsy, & different type of love story. it was recommended to me by one of my clients (thanks again Jonathon!!) & i highly recommend it to anyone who has a great love of music & interested in something a bit out of the norm as far as movies go.

just a quick note to let you know that i will be out of town starting today, February 19th until the 23rd. a bit inspired by the impulsive, heartfelt journey from the book Eat, Pray, Love, one of my best friend's Wen & I, along with my gorgeous nieces (Wen's daughter's) Juliana & Alex, are taking a little road trip to the land of spaghetti streets, never-ending rolling hills, & truly one of my most favorite places ever - Pittsburgh!!!! it is definitely going to be an adventure considering i have never traveled so far with my nieces, but one i am oh soooo looking forward to. we are visiting one of my best friend's Romi, her husband Jobie & their son's (my handsome nephews!) Liam & Lakin... as well as pretty much their entire family! i haven't seen Liam & Lakin since last May when we shot a wedding in Pittsburgh so I cannot even imagine how big they have gotten! Words cannot express how much i adore Romi, Jobie, Liam, Lakin & their entire family -- they are absolutely wonderful people with the truest of hearts.

...and yes, even though this is a road trip, i am definitely bringing along work (how can i not, i am still catching up )!!! i will especially be focusing on finishing up the babilion (yes, that may be a wee bit made-up word ) album designs i have in production!

for me this trip is part work, part pleasure, however if you need to get ahold of me, please feel free to email or call my cell -- i may not get back to you at my usual prompt speed but i will get back to you just as soon as i am able! i will blog if I can, too & if not, definitely when i get back home.
