samantha & rich had a most elegant, fun, love-filled & absolutely gorgeous winter wedding at the very end of December! you might remember
Samantha from an earlier post because not only did i have the honor of documenting their special day, i also did her make-up look!! their ceremony took place at the great
St. Sarkis Armenian Church where they were surrounded by sooo many loved ones! immediately following we took some very necessary group & newlywed shots
& then headed to the
Ritz Carlton for some awesome dancing, dinner & grand celebration! Samantha & Rich are so very much in love --- these two cannot keep their eyes off of each other! it was so wonder-FULL to be around & experience, leaving everyone with a most unforgettable day & evening.
Samantha & Rich, you are such a warm & inviting people, and as a couple, simply incredible! i absolutely loved getting to know you better & of course, witnessing & documenting your enormous love towards each other

in true Armenian fashion, they were introduced by dancing into the reception which then turned into this incredible dance floor surrounded by all those they love most -- one word : awesome!

a long overdue (i was hoping to have posted this yesterday!) but
most heartfelt, warm, toasty, BIG,
HUGE THANK YOU!!!! to all of you who made my birthday SO incredibly special & memorable. i am still in awe of all the super thoughtful comments, emails, cards, gifts, flowers & all the love that was showered upon me by my amazing clients, family & friends! thank you truly from the bottom of my heart.

turning 29 is definitely an interesting feeling if i do say so myself.
i have always said that i am super excited for when my 30th comes around -- what an exciting landmark of life, time, accomplishments & the stir of what the next thirty years will bring knowing that you are still young... but wiser having learned so much since the start of your 20's! i have also always said, "how old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?"... your age is irrelevant in a way -- how do you feel inside!?
it is amazing to me how much i have learned & grown as an individual these past 29 years, which is why i welcome another year with wide open arms!!! another year of new experiences, surprises & growth... life is definitely pretty amazing that way.
of course, there are certain things with the aging process that i could do without (can't we all!). your body just doesn't move the same way, your elasticity starts to loosen, your metabolism starts to snooze more often than you would like... many of you know all of which I am talking about! however, i do think laugh lines are fun, wrinkles are such great character, & if these certain hardships are bound to come with age, if nothing at all they at least make me want to be the healthiest I have ever been. another resolution of 2008 & age 29 -- get in my best shape ever! wahoooo!
ultimately, yes, although i do look forward to my 30th (& some of my best friends think i am simply crazy for this
), i was pleasantly surprised when i was having dinner with my family on Sunday & that lit candle stared back at me, i made a simple wish, blew it out & realized that
this year was just as much a definitive landmark of my life. i am very much looking forward to the adventures & new beginnings that the last year of my twenties will bring! thank you to all those who have always encouraged me to follow my passion, my talent, my love, my heart.

Mike surprised me with the most gorgeous flowers the day before my birthday! i love them (& him! ) :on my birthday, mike gave me his gift... he actually had t-shirts & hooded sweatshirts (one for each of us) made with "ksp" on the front & my logo on the back!!! i still can't believe he did this -- so incredibly thoughtful & special

happy friday everyone! I can't believe it has already been a week since I last posted -- gosh, time sure flies. there are so many things I have yet to post about & want to share with you all. i am
incredibly pumped about the new year, as well as some awesome
new products I will be offering (those will be blogged about, as well, of course!!). being out of town last weekend i of course brought my laptop to edit work... however, had no internet connection! With that being said this week has been a whirlwind of crazy catch up email & order wise, filled with client meetings, as well as the start of training of my brand
new office assistant (once again, i could just scream with joy
)!!! i am incredibly excited about this newest addition to ksenija savic photography & she will be getting an official introduction on the blog very soon here! i can't wait for you all to meet this wonderful person.
however, even with our newest addition of an office assistant -- i will still be meeting with all my clients & keeping things on the most personal level as
always... that will never ever change for ksenija savic photography!
so please know that if i am a bit slow at getting back email wise lately, it is just because I am trying to to catch up with everything & it isn't typically like me AT ALL!! i am currently working on a blog post of a gorgeous wedding we shot at the very end of december (samantha & rich, that is yours I am talking about!), as well as an awesome portrait session I had with a most fun & beautiful family earlier in January (the Michaels' family, yep this is you I am talking about)! that on top of soooo much more to come here on my ksp blog! wahooooo!!!!

*every year I buy a new notebook to jot down all my thoughts, ideas, sketches, even paste inspiring clips from fashion magazines, etc... this year i found this notebook below as my official 2008 inspiration book -- i just loooove the colors, shape & fun feel to it! (by the way, Borders is such a amazing place to find the most beautiful & unique notebooks if you are on the lookout! it is also just in general one of my most favorite places to shop & relax in.) :
