Living Awake

I'm starting something new & you're welcome to join me if you'd like. I'm calling it #100daysoflivingAWAKE.

There's been a stirring in my soul & I'm realizing that it's been going on for quite some time now. It was REALLY stirring early last spring & I was feeling so motivated and just READY for this great shift that was happening. And then, my father got sick. He went from being our family's pillar of unshakeable joy, strength, positivity & LIFE... to having pancreatic cancer (what felt like) overnight.

This exact time last year, was when my entire world stopped. Everything was put on hold because the only thing that mattered was helping my Dad LIVE, as best as he could. But what I am realizing now is that somewhere around this time, I also put part of MYSELF on hold. I didn't really allow myself to fully process what was going on & everything that happened thereafter.

I'm sure you can all relate to this at some point in your life (not to mention all that 2020 has already brought on). It's really easy to put ourselves on hold and say, "I'll get to that someday." But the truth is, we have to choose to work on our 'stuff' NOW, otherwise 'someday' will never happen & therefore robbing us of living our life to it's fullest potential. Personally, I want to live my life AWAKE. Let me say that again :

So, I'm beginning a little challenge -- starting today & for the next 100 days, I am going to show up every day in my Instagram stories or as a post/blog, whether I'm having a good, bad, sad, blah, showered, unshowered day. I will share what I'm focusing on health wise & what I'm doing to better myself for that day or week. I'm going to keep it 100% real with you because quite honestly, it's just time. I'm letting go of anything holding me back & fully diving into LIVING AWAKE.

If this spurs something within your soul, I would absolutely love for you to join me! And don't worry, if you don't start today - ANY day is a good day to begin to LIVE AWAKE.

PS. I'll be using this hashtag : #100daysoflivingawake
Be sure to use it, too, so we can follow along & all inspire each other. xx
