lunch, laughs & life

about two weeks ago i had the great pleasure of having lunch with the incredibly well-known & beautiful Aletha Vandermaas of Pearls Events; an event planning firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan that specializes in planning + coordinating weddings throughout the entire state.

i originally met Aletha via 'cyberspace' (aka email ) when she asked to spotlight me on her blog. since then, i have really enjoyed getting to know her even better through the world of twitter. it still amazes me how powerful technology is even more so these days...

after finally meeting the amazing woman behind Pearls Events & Pearls Events Blog, i felt inspired to do a post about her. Aletha is known for her uber fresh perspective & keen eye for design which have made her one of this year’s best up and coming wedding planners in the industry. however, she is not only incredibly talented in her field -- she is also sincere, genuine & passionate about what she does. considering what i do for a living, i cannot help but get super excited when i come across other individuals in this industry who exude passion.life.love.
