MOTHERHOOD

Motherhood is an entire gamut of every emotion under the sun wrapped up in an imperfectly messy, yet utterly brilliant, bow.

As mother's we all know that time is far too fleeting & precious -- our children are daily reminders of this. But what I am understanding better as time goes on, is that I was placed to not only be their Mama, but to also learn, heal, grow, love, release, laugh, cry, trust, live, dance... WITH them.

Whether you are a mother, want to be a mother, miss your mother, long for a mother -- the truth is, we are all essentially mother's at heart. Each of us are beautifully woven with extra care, compassion, empathy & love inside of us. We've been doing this naturally since the beginning of time, and learning from others along the way -- be it from our maternal mothers and our chosen ones.

The beauty in motherhood is that we all get the choice of what we want to create it to be, as well as what we allow ourselves to learn from it. This journey continues to shape me & remind me that there is no other title I feel more honored to hold. I am so thankful today & everyday (even on the 'I want to scream at the top of my lungs ones).
