#100daysoflivingAWAKE day4 & this quote jumped out at me :

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."
-- Neale Donald Walsch

Today I did something I would not have normally done (I'm finding that making the intention to live life AWAKE has a way of encouraging that ). You see, something made me feel uncomfortable & in the past I would have just sat with it, probably expressed it to my husband & then "moved on". But instead, I felt like I had to express it to the other person... even though it completely terrified me to do so and it actually had nothing to do with the other person & everything to do with my own insecurities. But I realized that if I didn't release it, I would be doing what I always do -- not fully being my true self because of worry of judgement. This not only does not serve me, but it also doesn't serve others.

So, I released it. I expressed how I'm working on my 'stuff' & just needed to be vulnerable & honest. The response back was so empathetic, loving & relatable. She was vulnerable back, shared that she totally gets it, that we ALL have our stuff & that we are all in this together.

An immediate
deep breath of relief.
Deep release of unnecessary angst.
Deep breath in of gratitude.

Can you relate? How often do you just hold things in because the notion of letting them out seems almost unbearable & scary?

You AMAZE, INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE me. These words I feel & say so often to others, & yet not often (if at all) to myself. Friends, these are words we should be waking ourselves up to & putting ourselves to bed to! Today I felt brave, encouraged & reminded of that.

We really are in this together. Be willing to jump out of your comfort zone & wake up to the goodness that comes after. You, and your life, are worth it.
