DIY NON-TOXIC HAND SANITIZER

There is so much going on in the world right now, it can feel like it's hard to keep your head on straight. I'm trying to just keep things simple over here & do all the obvious, like washing hands well, staying at home, etc.

With that said, I know that places are selling out of everything it seems right now, so I wanted to share a quick & easy way to make your own non-toxic hand sanitizer (& yes, I know that hand washing is BEST, but as a mama, I personally want to be extra cautious & DO BOTH when out & about for myself & my family).

I've always been a fan of the mini Thieves waterless hand sanitizers. They fit literally anywhere & I have one easily available always (ie. in my purse, coat pocket, car, etc). Last I checked, though, Young Living had run out of their awesome hand sanitizer, so I decided to just create my own after a bit of research. Turns out, it's super easy & affordable to boot!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :
-1 part Aloe Vera Gel
-2 parts Rubbing Alcohol
-3 drops Thieves Essential Oil
-1 drop Peppermint Essential Oil
-A little squeeze bottle to put everything in.

DIRECTIONS :
1. Depending on the size of your bottle (I used one of my empty 1oz Thieves Hand-Sanitzer bottles shown in the photo), first start by pouring in the aloe vera gel to fill up 1/3 of the bottle.

2. Next, add in the drops of both essential oils.

3. Fill the rest of the bottle up with Rubbing Alcohol.

4. Shake up & use one little squirt at a time.
