Heya! In need of some toasty, warm comfort food?
My friend texted me the other day asking for my granola recipe & I realized I should share it here while I’m at it because it’s seriously delicious & super easy to whip up!
So... here you go.
INGREDIENTS :
2 cups dry oatmeal (gluten free or regular)
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup unsalted cashews
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup maple syrup
pinch of celtic salt
generous dash of cinnamon (I personally love ceylon cinnamon
)
*NOTE: You can easily substitute any of the nuts above for nuts of your choice. We also LOVE making this granola with goji berries, as well as adding in some cacao powder to make it a more chocolatey batch.
DIRECTIONS :
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients above in a big bowl. Make sure everything is coated evenly with the maple syrup.
3. Spread the granola on a parchment lined baking tray & flatten with a spatula.
4. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
5. Remove & let cool a bit.
6. Store in an air tight container at room temperature.
7. Enjoy!
