which was snapped by my dear sa-weeeeet friend & talented photog Em back in 2001.
two things happened after seeing it :
one ~ a ginormous smile was planted on my face, as well as a good laugh out loud.
&
two ~ i thought to myself how some things never change. 
this image was taken in my home away from home,,, Florence, Italia.
a place & a time where i can FULLy say that i was living quite LIVEly.
there is a guiltless magic about Europe that just allows you to have no need for time & to fully enjoy the NOW. to fully just BE.
to remember to stop, smile BIG & smell the breeze...

and see the leaves bursting in color, floating all around me,,,
and realize that summer is no more -- fall is here, now,,, right now.
i realize again that the choice to stop & take it all in is mine. as it is yours.
as it is ours.
truth be told, we all have our plates full for so many different & unique reasons...
but all that really matters is this one life we are LIVE-ing,
or as David Gray would say,
'It don't come down to nothing,
except loooooooooooooove in the end.'
so today, i challenge you to ask yourself...
are you living LIVEly?
are you living FULLy?
and even better yet,
are you ready to SHINE???
