ksen : )   woohoo Stacey!! SO happy to hear that great news -- how awesome! it was seriously so great to see you, too... hopefully next time we will have a bit more time to catch up (& maybe share some of those fabulous photos you are taking with your new D40x!!!). CONGRATS! :)  10.29.07, 7:54am
Stacey Chamberlin  I got it Ksen, I got it! Me and my new D40x have been traveling around for about a week and a half, and I'm in love:). So great to see you last month!!  10.27.07, 10:05pm
ksen  Heather & Hanna! Thanks SO much for your comments & questions regarding my vintage/antique look to my images -- i am glad you both like that look! : ) in general, though, there is no easy one-step answer to that question. you see, every image gets treated a bit differently to achieve that effect because every image (taken at different exposures, lighting, etc) doesn't always saturate the same. it is a picky, many filter process & unfortunately, therefore would be hard for me to explain a certain standard post process for it. However, there are also certain things, such as this vintage/antique process, that are symbollic & unique of my art & style. i am sorry to not be able to better answer your question! I hope you understand. : )  9.30.07, 12:57pm
Heather  Ksen, I'm curious about an effect you've started using lately, too... it looks like antiqued paper. I have always tried to achieve an effect like this. I've run through all the Photoshop filters I can find, but to no avail. It gives it a great classic look. Your post-photo production is quite impressive.  9.28.07, 9:27am
Hanna  Hi Ksenija, I moved from MI to FL last year and just heard about you today (in a really round about, indirect way from Robert Bruce, I think). I have a question about a technique you used a few times on your blog. In your most recent engagement post there is a picture of the couple just hanging out/laughing by a no parking sign. I get a similar effect with a reduced opacity nik filter but can't get the color like yours. Starting from scratch (because I like yours better) how do you get that effect and color? Thanks for your help!  9.24.07, 10:58pm
Samantha Cover  Hi Ksenija, Just wanted to say Hello to a fellow Michigan photographer! Your work is great. Would love to get together for lunch sometime :-)  9.24.07, 8:50pm

ksenija  heather! you are too funny... you can hog the comment section as much as you want!!! ; )  5.1.07, 5:23pm
Heather  I KNOW she created this section specifically for me! I'm constantly asking Ksenija, "how'd you do that?"! I learn so much from her as a photographer just getting going. I'm really looking forward to this section, and will try not to hog the comments section here, too! :)  4.30.07, 2:46pm
